    Expectations is a melodic hardcore band formed in 2009 in Sofia, Bulgaria. They have released 4 studio albums so far with each pushing their own boundaries and sound. The latest album "Heartless, Shallow and Cruel" offers their best attempt at combining the melodic and heavy sides of hardcore with each song adding different flavors and nuances to the mix.

    Through the years Expectations have shared the stage with bands like Parkway Drive, Architects, While She Sleeps, Stick To Your Guns, Comeback Kid, Bane and A Wilhelm Scream. Since its inception, the band has toured extensively around Europe, playing more than 170 shows and always trying to keep the DIY underground punk ethics alive.
