Copyright: © Designworks Collective Company Discover the fresh spirit of the garden at home with the candle "A Dopo - Eel: Wild Lemongrass". This hand-painted ceramic candle from the A Dopo series brings the playfulness and freshness of the Mediterranean to every detail. The vessel - with an elegant snake figure and a sunny palette - is not only beautiful, but after burning, it can serve as a decorative flowerpot or holder. The aroma is felt immediately: top notes of citron, mint, mandarin, and bergamot, a heart with lemongrass, rosemary, and pink geranium, and base notes with fresh musk, cedar, and sandalwood - a real explosion of green nuances and coziness. The candle is made with pure soy wax and melts in about 48 hours, thanks to the cotton wick and harmless ingredients.
Paddywax Bulgaria Ltd. and Elephant Bookstore Ltd. are the official representatives and distributors of Paddywax in Bulgaria. If you would like to stock our products, please do not hesitate to get in touch! Now, let’s talk about the candles themselves. Are Paddywax candles really safer than most other branded candles around the world?
Paddywax candles combine a wax blend made with premium soybean oil and scented oils and/or high-quality fragrance compositions. Paraffin, added to achieve the desired firmness, accounts for approximately 15% of the blend, keeping the proportion of non-natural ingredients to a minimum. This reduced paraffin content ensures that burning the candles does not cause breathing discomfort in enclosed spaces and allows you to enjoy more than one candle at a time without harming your health.
In addition to containing just 15% paraffin, Paddywax soy candles contain no formaldehyde (0%)—a carcinogenic substance that can cause coughing and is commonly found in many types of candles.
Our Paddywax candles are also free from phthalates—a widely used and highly hazardous group of synthetic chemical compounds (esters of phthalic acid). These substances are used in mainstream fragrances, nail polish, hairsprays, and lotions to help scents last longer and improve application, yet they are carcinogenic. We do NOT use them in our production.
Paddywax collections are developed in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Most packaging and final product assembly takes place in Vietnam. Some of our candle vessels are designed to be repurposed, adding a beautiful decorative touch to your home long after the candle has burned down.
Made in the USA and Vietnam.
