We have free delivery for the whole of Bulgaria. If you order until 4pm, your order will arrive on the next working day. If your order on Friday after 4pm and during the weekend, you can expect your order to arrive on Tuesday the following week.

Vintage poster "Growth in industrial production"

  • If we read in the text in the lower right corner, we will read:

    In the field of industrial production, the five-year business plan has been implemented for 3 years. At the end of 1961, in less than 28 working days, industrial production equal to that throughout 1939 will be produced (in tonnes).

    Of course, such a statement makes sense, because in 1961 we were talking about a state-owned industry and we were not talking about war, were we?

    In this propaganda poster we see exactly how numbers eat away at the logic of thought. The poster has no technical notes indicating its size and instructions for printing. It was most probably printed in the State Enterprise (State Printing House) Chromolithography "Balkan" Sofia in a circulation of 2000 copies. The style of the image is typical of the late 50s of last century, but the year is not specified.
