  • The famous actor Gennady Maksimov traveled to the south, in the Crimea, with his wife Larisa. She is thrown straight off the train to fill in for a sick actress. Maksimov has to get to Crimea himself. He misses the train, meets many people, and each meeting turns into a satirical, theatrical miniature. After a series of encounters with very interesting people, he manages to get to the sanatorium. The overzealous vacationers, who happened to see a rehearsal of the "Cheating Husband" skit, take it for granted and, wanting to help Maximov, almost fight between him and his wife...

    The film was made in 1954 and the poster you see is from the original production. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.
