Vintage poster "Alice Addams" (USA) - 1935

  • Alice Addams* (Katharine Hepburn) is the daughter of the Addams family. Father ì (Fred Stone) is an invalid employed as a factory worker owned by Mr. Lamb (Charles Grapevine), who has kept Adams on the payroll for years despite his long illness. Mother ì (Anne Shoemaker) is embittered by her wife's lack of ambition and upset by her daughter's neglect of her poverty. Alice's older brother Walter (Frank Albertson) is a gambler who can't get a job and hangs out with African-Americans, which, given the time period the film is set in, is considered a major social embarrassment.

    Starring: Kartin Hepburn, Fred McMurray and others.
    The film was made in 1935 and the poster you see is from the original production. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.
