  • The best foremen from the two competing teams Olga Stepanova and Maxim Orlov have long been in love with each other. But Olga is a drummer, and the proud Maxim fails to overtake her in terms of performance. Maxim sends suitors to Olga, but immediately a quarrel arises between the bride and groom on an industrial basis and everything goes to waste. Olga is ready to offer her hand and heart to "the first man in the village" Nikolai Kurochkin. But work drives and reconciles lovers at the same time.
