Vintage poster "Land" (USSR) - 1954

  • Based on the story of the same name by Olga Kobilyanskaya based on an actual event.

    The action takes place at the end of the 19th century in Bukovina. Wanting to conquer the best part of the land, which by law should go to the elder brother, the younger one, instigated by his girlfriend, kills him. The father, knowing who the killer is, cannot find the strength to hand his son over to the police.

    The movie was made in 1954, but the poster you see is from a few years later. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.
