- The film tells about the short but glorious life of Alexander Matrosov, an ordinary soldier of the 254th Guards Rifle Regiment. After a patriotic impulse, he volunteered at the front, wounded in the first battle.After his recovery, he continued his service. He was appointed acting commander of the detachment and at the decisive moment of the battle he closed the embrasure of the enemy bunker with his body, giving his comrades the opportunity to attack the fortified positions of the enemy.Director:L. Matrosov's name was given to his regiment, and he himself was forever inscribed in the lists of the 1st Company of this unit.The feature film about the heroic war is directed by Leonid Lukov, shot in 1947 by Georgi Mdivani at the Soyuzdetfilm film studio (re-edited at the Gorky film studio).The film was made in 1948, but the poster you see is a few years later. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and inscriptions. It was folded in the middle, but can be easily framed so that the folds are not visible. The paper is thick and rough.
