Vintage poster "Story of a Love" (Italy) - 1938

  • Vittorio De Sica, heir to a large sum of money and owner of a newspaper stand, makes enough money from his business to take a vacation at a fashionable resort. He is given a cruise ticket by an aristocrat who is an old school friend, and is mistaken for the aristocrat when he uses the camera that has his friends name written on it. Asya Norris plays a maid who falls in love with him for who he is, not what others think of him. The happy ending comes when De Sica marries Norris, who is more genuine than the spoiled world beauties he's been partying with.

    The film was made in 1938 and the poster you see is from the original production. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.
