- "Prince Bob" is an operetta in three acts by Jeno Huska. The libretto was written by Ferenc Martos and Karoli Baconi.The story concerns a young prince named George. However, he doesn't enjoy his duties and doesn't love the princess he's betrothed to, so he and his friend sneak off to London for some fun ("Londonban, hej"). He uses a pseudonym, Bob. In London he meets the beautiful Annie, a poor girl. Little does she know that he is the prince in disguise. The story is about how George becomes king and the romance between George and Annie and between his betrothed princess and a soldier.Starring: László Szilassy, Erzsi Simor, Kató Kovács and others.The film was made in 1941 and the poster you see is from the original production. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.* The original title of the film is "Bob herceg".
