Vintage poster "Warsaw" - 1950s
- Ludwik Perski is a Polish film director and screenwriter. He was born in 1912 in Warsaw, Kingdom of Poland, Russian Empire, now Poland. In 1930-1932 he studied at the Academy of Commerce in Vienna. He was one of the founders of the Society of Film Lovers "Start" (1930). In 1929-1942 he was an assistant cinematographer and director under Evgeniusz Czenkalski, Alexander Ford and others. During World War II he was in the USSR (in Kyiv, then in Tashkent and Ashgabat). In 1943-1944 he was a member of the Polish Army Film Group "Czoiowka", and since 1946 - director of documentaries about Warsaw, for artists and for Polish-Soviet friendship.His documentary "Warsaw" is perhaps one of his most famous works. The narrator in the production is Andrey Lapichki.Director:Ludwik PerskyThe film was made in 1954, but the poster you see is a few years later. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and inscriptions. It was folded in the middle, but can be easily framed so that the folds are not visible. The paper is thick and rough.
