  • Georgi Milev Kasabov is the real name of the poet and publicist Geo Milev - a Bulgarian poet and publicist.

    Geo Milev was born in 1895 in Radne mahle (Radnevo), in the family of the teacher and journalist Mile Kasabov. He lived in Stara Zagora, and in his later years in Leipzig and London. Returning to Bulgaria, he translated poetry, he is the main representative of expressionism in Bulgarian literature. Together with other sympathizers of the left, he was killed by the police during the April events in 1925. He is the father of the children's writer Leda Mileva.

    The author of the portrait you see in front of you is B. Grudev - a reproduction of one of Geo Milev's most famous photographs.
