One of our favorite examples and quotations from memory is that Cyril and Methodius created the Bulgarian alphabet in order to spread the ideologies of Marxism and Leninism in "our days".This campaign poster that you see in front of you sounds more or less the same. Pushkin (1799-1837) and Gorky (1868-1931) have nothing in common with Stalin (1879-1953) and Lenin (1870-1924), but it sounds good, especially when we talk about Russian, doesn't it?On this propaganda poster we see precisely the desire of the propaganda apparatus to unite under a common denominator different literary epochs. The poster has technical notes that indicate its size and instructions for printing. It was printed in the State Enterprise (State Printing House) Chromolithography "Balkan" Sofia in a circulation of 1200 copies. from Management of publishing houses, printing industry and trade in printed works. The style of the image is typical for the late 50s of the last century, in this case the poster is from 1955.
