  • This is the 34th issue of the Swiss fashion magazine "La Semaine de la Femme", released in August 1936. 

    The edition, targeted at housewives of the time, is synonymous with Le Petit Echo de la Mode - another pioneer of 20-century women's magazines, but this time in France. It hides all the ingredients that women of those times needed in order to be fashionable, good wives and mothers (1930s, duh)... and to be the best at doing crosswords. 

    The magazine is in quite good condition, considering its age: the colours of the cover are bright and the contents have been preserved.
