Framed Vintage Phoography of a Bulgarian colonel WWI
- We have no information about the name of this valiant Bulgarian colonel from the time of the First World War, unfortunately, the years after the Second World War quickly and successfully managed to make us forget the heroes from the time of Tsarist Bulgaria, but the epaulettes and medals speak clearly enough. What we were able to gather as information thanks to the Facebook history museum "Sofia Headquarters" is that most likely the portrait is of a military doctor, and the medals are with swords, which means "for bravery" and are wartime. The photo was saved by Elephant Bookstore and we have preserved it for future generations by framing it with our sincere respect to all those nameless heroes we don't remember or know, but without whom there would be nothing to preserve for posterity today...
