1931-03-28 Vintage Magazine Die Woche
Primo Carnera, also known as Ambling Alp, is the Italian giant to whom the cover of the March 1931 edition of the German newspaper Die Woche is dedicated. It announces his victory against the American Maloney, in Miami, when he becomes fourth according to world rankings. The heavyweight champion is known for gaining the highest number of victories via knockout in the history of boxing.
The newspaper is in excellent condition, considering its age. The old-style wooden frame with passepartout keeps it safe through the years. The photo and the writings are clear, with visible contrast in the black and white tones.
