  • In Sardinia, Stanis, who left the country years ago, returned there and found his business in the hands of Barra, an unscrupulous man who undoubtedly dominates the milk market.

    Entering cooperation with other shepherds, one day a truck carrying milk to markets in other countries was attacked by Bar supporters. Forced to flee the country, his girlfriend is courted more and more by Bar; but Stanis returns and, thanks to a former employee, receives evidence that Bara destroyed the truck. After a long persecution, Bara was killed.

    Altura is a 1949 Italian crime melodrama directed by Mario Secui and starring Massimo Girotti, Roldano Lupi and Eleanor Rossi Drago. The action takes place in Sardinia and describes the struggle between large landowners and a cooperative of shepherds.

    The film was made in 1949, but the poster you see is a few years later. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and inscriptions. It was not folded. The paper is thick and rough.
