Vintage poster "Sport's pride" (USSR) - 1954

  • Vetlugin, a factory worker in the Urals, became a member of the Turbina football team in Moscow. The nationally known captain and center forward of Turbina Vitaly Grinko envies the newcomer and tries to discredit the inventive football player. The whole team takes the rookie's side, criticizes the captain's behavior and wins the match against a foreign team. This is also the first film role of the actor Oleg Strizhenov.
