Vintage poster "Spring in Moscow" (USSR) - 1953

  • Film-performance based on the play of the same name by Viktor Gusev. The production is at the Leningrad New Theater. The director and artist of the performance is Nikolay Akimov. The play, written in 1941, is set in the early fifties.

    The young historian Nadezhda Kovrova, having brilliantly completed her first work, abandoned her friends and immediately began writing her next work. Although she fails in her endeavor, the heroine finds support from her team.

    Starring: Galina Korotkevich, Vladimir Petrov, Yuri Bublikov, Anatoly Kuznetsov, Vladimir Taskin and others.

    The film was made in 1953 and the poster you see is from the original production. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.
