Vintage poster "The Hussar's Heart" (Sweden) - 1942

  • The Hussar's Heart is a 1942 Swedish comedy film directed by Weyler Hildebrand. Starring Sikan Karlsson and Oke Söderblom. The plot tells how three daring cavalry officers fall in love with three girlfriends.

    The film was shot at Kula Gunasrstop Castle outside Helsingborg and at the K2 (Scandinavian Cavalry Unit) training ground in Ljungbyhed. The film was premiered way back in 1942 at the Chinese cinema in Berzeli Park in Stockholm.

    Starring: Zikan Karlsson, Åke Zgoderblom and others.

    The film was made in 1942 and the poster you see is from the original production. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.

    * The original title of the film was "Löjtnantshjärtan" ("Lieutenant Hearts").
