Price 79.90 лв.
  • Whom the Gods Love (German: Wen die Götter lieben) is a 1942 Austrian historical musical film directed by Karl Hartl and starring Hans Holt, Irene von Mayendorf and Vinnie Markus. The film is a biopic about the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It was created as a co-production between the giant German studio UFA and Wien-Film, which was created after the German annexation of Austria. The film was part of a wider attempt by the Nazis to portray Mozart as an authentic German hero. Like many German biopics of the war years, it portrays the composer as an innovative visionary.

    Director:
    Karl Hartl
Starring: Hans Holt, Irene von Mayendorff, Vinnie Markus and others.

The movie was made in 1942, but the poster you see is from a few years later. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.
