1985 Vintage Framed Poster Асамблея на Мира плакат
- The International Children's Assembly "Flag of Peace" is a children's festival under the patronage of Lyudmila Zhivkova, established in 1979. In fact, the idea comes from the "International Year of the Child" announced by the United Nations in the same year. The first action under this title includes children from 79 countries and takes place in Sofia. One of the symbols of the assembly, which has remained in the city to this day, is the memorial monument called "The Bells" - erected the same year, which includes 68 bells from countries participating in the celebrations. The event was planned to be a one-time event, but after the positive international response, it was decided to hold it every three years - 1982, 1985, 1988. In 1990, the structures of the "Banner of Peace" were closed and the International Assembly remained in the socialist past us.The poster you see is for the celebrations in 1985 and is the work of the poster artist Dimitar Tasev - one of the most famous poster artists in our country. He was born in 1937 in Sofia, studied "Poster" at National Art Academy "Nikolai Pavlovich" in the course of Prof. Alexander Poplilov and is the author of countless posters for various theaters, cinemas, operas and various events. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. Framing is something that the Elephant team pays close attention to. The framing of each graphic is planned individually. We emphasize not only aesthetics in the front and back, but also security - metal ropes (on two levels, if necessary), various hanging options and table display. Each comes with a matching frame and/or passepartout. Funds in this direction are not spared. We like to say that with framing, we give your grandchildren peace of mind that they won't have to reframe the hand-assembled frames they buy from us, either for security or aesthetics.
