- This is an extremely interesting poster from 1959, which covers so many topics that we will not have enough space on the site to describe what is behind the slogan "Cooperators, mechanizers and agricultural specialists! Тhe struggle to implement the five-year plan in three years!"Let's start with May 1st and the fact that it is, yes, a labor movement, but it originated with Chicago workers in the United States as early as 1886. More than 200 people were injured in the strike. A few years later, the Social Democratic parties were called upon to recognize May 1 as a day of peace and an eight-hour working day. In Bulgaria the holiday has been an annual since 1945. But why struggle, you will ask, our dear friends ... Because struggle is the basis of socialist, not to mention communist, political ideology. In that era of the People's Republic of Bulgaria, we are still fighting against something that does not exist, something that does not exist, but is something that threatens us, including our own plans for the five-year plan, which we will fulfill in three years. So, cooperators, mechanics and agricultural specialists, unite, because the struggle awaits us in the next three years!On this poster we see this very hard struggle - with the machine on May Day. The poster has technical notes indicating its dimensions and instructions for printing. It was printed by the State Publishing House "Science and Art" in the State Enterprise (State Printing House) Chromolithography "Balkan" Sofia in a circulation of 200/350 copies. The style of the image is typical for the late 50s of the last century, in this case the poster is from 1959.
