  • Sport has always been part of the reality of the socialist world, because (supposedly) there is no politics in it, it is the pure superiority of one athlete (man) over all other athletes (people). This, of course, is not true and everyone who remembers the golden years of Bulgarian sports, remembers the many doping scandals and medals taken away. But let's not go into this alley of memories, let's look at this wonderful campaign poster, which invites "Young men and women, participate en masse in martial arts competitions!".

    On this campaign poster we see the multi-colored power of our sea sport. The poster has technical notes that indicate its size and instructions for printing. It was printed by the Central Council (CS) of the Voluntary Organization for Defense Assistance (DOSO) in the State Enterprise (State Printing House) Chromolithography "Balkan" Sofia in a circulation of 1250 copies. The style of the image is typical of the late 50s of the last century, in this case the poster is from 1956.
