The mastermind behind the March 1982 cover of The New Yorker is no other but Jean-Jacques Sempé - French cartoonist and children's book illustrator whose most famous work is the collaboration with René Goscinny on the Le petit Nicolas book. In his art, he demonstrates a strong affinity for cityscapes and rural landscapes, which can be observed in the image used for this puzzle. Each piece has a linen finish, which reduces the glare and allows you to see the details with maximum clarity.
