The American College of Sofia Yearbook | Class of 1936
- Maybe you will find your ancestors within the pages of this creative yearbook of the American College of Sofia, Class of '36. Maybe you or your kids are currently enrolled in it. Maybe there are no family connections bringing you here, and you just experience curiosity when it comes to the day-to-day life and looks of people from the past. Or maybe we all are connected by the youth that we all get to experience during our school years.
We get you, regardless of what brings you here - this album is an exceptionally intriguing and unique relic. Its design is just as attractive and artistic today, as it was nearly 100 years ago.
A yearbook like this one is a wonderful gift that will most certainly gather all the guests together, giving them a glimpse of the lives of the students that once attended the American College of Sofia, only a decade before Bulgaria goes under a totalitarian regimen.
Within its pages you will find portrait photographs of all the students from the class of '36, as well as photos of all the students in the years below them. It is entirely written in English and it follows the American style of yearbooks. The college in general is one of the oldest American educational institutions outside of the US. The students had the joy of experiencing numerous activities through a variety of clubs and societies - from sports, through radio and journalism, to theater.
The college was first established as an all-boys school in Plovdiv, in 1860. Then it moved to Samokov, together with the girls' school, before becoming the Sofia campus that you will see in the photos in this yearbook. With the political changes that took place in 1947, the college stopped functioning and opened its doors again in 1992. - • Language: English

The original vintage item, this one included, is an example of a wonderful non-standard gift. In fact, our vintage products without exception fall into the category of "non-standard gifts". It is rare to find a product on our market that has such an individual spirit and carries so much history in it.
We call our vintage gifts exclusive, original (and not only because the products are not reproductions, but really original) and non-traditional, but also successful. The vintage gift is rare, necessarily special, always demonstrates an individual attitude and of course very often guarantees success.
