Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy this intriguing and extraordinary limited deck of Tarot cards - the love child born out of the symbiosis between illustrator Yasen Panov and one of the most famous Tarot-card readers in Bulgaria. The collaboration between them has provided fertile soil for the creation of cards, that are not only a delight for the eye that appreciates the beauty of a painting but also a precious possession for those who are looking to find direction and meditation in the mystic art of Tarot.
Each card was designed in the period between 2012 and 2019, with valuable and consistent consultations by the reader. Exactly this type of close communication has allowed Panov to create an original deck by both giving it a unique vision and remaining loyal to the foundation of Tarot practice. The cards themselves are also engaged in communication when in the hands of reader: together, the illustrator and the consultant have managed to build hidden bridges between various cards. It is through such connections that the deck tells another story, in addition to the straightforward narrative revealed during the seance with the client.
The deck contains the traditional Minor Arcana and Major Arcana, each consisting of 56 and 22 cards respectively. The curious fact here is that this deck has two more cards, in addition to the Arcanas' sum: the so-called "Mother Earth" and "Father Sky". The reason why they exist in some decks is because, when manufacturers print the cards, they usually use one big sheet of paper that holds up to 8 cards in width and 10 cards in height. Then, the deck is complete.
Another exceptional trait about this specific deck is that a lot of thought has gone into the details. The cards are slightly bigger than usually, 15 x 10 cm to be precise, which allows one to pay closer attention to the elements that are woven into the illustrations.
