  • What you see on the cover of this issue of the Austrian fashion magazine Wiener Mode are a few ladies on their way to catch a cold, if we dare to judge by the type of swimsuits they are wearing. They must have been swimming towards "The Roaring 20s". 

    Old magazines with cover illustrations that are this beautiful make for a great home decoration or an unconventional gift. Moreover, you could add a stylish frame that would make the magazine pop even more! 

    Editions like this one were specifically targeted at young women and housewives of the time. It hides all the ingredients that women needed in order to be fashionable, good wives and mothers (first half of the 20th Century, duh...). 

    The issue is in a good condition despite the test of time. There are traces of wear around the edges, but the contents have been perfectly preserved.
