  • Based on the classic Georgian play "Khanuma" by Avksentii Tsagareli.
    A rich Tiflis merchant dreams of marrying into the aristocracy and will marry his daughter to an old, bankrupt prince. The girl is in despair - she loves the young poet, nephew of the prince. With the help of friends and matchmaker Hanuma, the young lovers manage to outwit the old people and achieve their happiness.

    The film was made in 1948 and the poster you see is from the original production. The poster is in good condition for its age, with preserved colors and lettering. It has been folded in half but could easily be framed so the folds don't show. The paper is thick and rough.
