  • Oh, this peace, oh this friendship. For better or for worse, neither the peace of the fraternal Soviet people turned out to be so peaceful, nor did the friendship turn out to be so friendly, but then we are not so brotherly if we really think about it, right? But in words it sounds good:

    Long live and strengthen the eternal and unbreakable Bulgarian-Soviet friendship for the good of our peoples and peace in the whole world.

    The words are framed by set on a light background, and to the left of them is the figure of a young naked man holding up an arrow, arrow, or missile (depending on what you're thinking of) against a background of red flames or a curtain (again, up to you) and a glowing sickle and a hammer in the sky above him.

    The poster has technical notes to note its circulation and year. It is printed by the NS of the Patriotic Front and is in a thin horizontal form. The style of the image is typical of the late 1950s, in this case the poster is from 1958.
